We aggregate data from multiple sources to ensure our rankings reflect both expert assessment and real-world user experience. These include G2 and Capterra verified user reviews, Product Hunt community ratings, benchmark results (SWE-bench, MMLU, ARC-AGI for AI models), official pricing pages verified monthly, and developer community feedback from Reddit, Hacker News, and Discord communities.
For AI model-specific rankings (chatbots, coding tools), we also incorporate results from standardized benchmarks and arena-style evaluations where models compete head-to-head.
Our core principle: Organic ranking positions are determined solely by our scoring methodology and are never available for purchase. Featured Partner placements are a separate, clearly labeled position that does not influence organic rankings.
We offer paid participation tiers for AI tool companies, from basic claimed profiles ($99/mo) to Featured Partner placements ($699/mo). Every paid placement is visually distinct and clearly labeled. Organic rankings are never for sale.
AI moves fast, so we do too. Rankings are refreshed monthly — not quarterly like traditional review sites. Each update incorporates new model releases, pricing changes, feature updates, and fresh review data. The "Updated" date on each ranking page reflects the most recent data refresh.
